- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I received a subpena from Paul J. Hooten & Associates, first they tried to send me a subpena that was not signed by a judge so I called them and asked for a signed copy from the judge. I never received it. It is now a year later and now I received a letter stating they have put a hold on my checking account. They Claim I owe $2,084 from a surgery I had in 2007. I think it went over the amount of years they can collect. I had to agree to pay $500 for a $300 bill for them to take the hold off. I went and read other complaints about Paul J. Hooten & Associates seems they like to scam people. I will be calling the Attorney General and the news stations.By Dolores Persky, August 22, 2017
